Well, after being up $60 (including the $10 for signing up with no deposit) at Dream Poker, I lost it all in about 10 hours. I could have cashed all that money out. But nooooo, I had to keep on playing, or should I say losing. Even if I were up a thousand dollars I still wouldn’t have quit. I’m not sure what that says about my obsessive personality.
I did have fun and I do think Dream Poker is a decent site to play low stakes no limit poker, especially on their dime. On my last post, I complained about a few of the annoying features of their software, but, all in all, I think it is a 3.5 out of 5 star joint.
When I was down to my last few dollars at Dream Poker (I actually stayed alive with less than $5 for about an hour, one of my finest poker moments), I discovered that Poker.com had given me $50 that I had applied for through Leet Poker. Again, this is FREE money that doesn’t require any deposit. It just requires that you write a few replies and a post at Leet Poker and wait a few days. Clever idea and much appreciated. Thanks Leet Poker and Poker.com.
As I write this post, I’m playing at Poker.com. And I’m down to my last $10, after starting with $50. I just idiotically folded my AQo preflop because some guy went all in for about $9. Some other person called him, and it turns out I would have won with a pair of Aces. This is not how I want to play, but I’ve lost so much confidence after all these recent losses.
I doubt I have much time left on Poker.com, given the way I’ve been playing. I’m not totally depressed though. I just found out that I received a FREE $50 (no deposit) from CDPoker because I signed up with them through PokerGlitch (same kind of deal as Leet Poker with the forum writing). Thank you CDPoker and PokerGlitch. You keep the dream alive.
