There’s a new poker run scheduled this Saturday, May 2. Officially called “cruising for Critters Poker Run,? the event will take place in Spring Hill starting at 10 a.m. This is for the benefit of the homeless, neglected and abused pets which are now in the care of The Humane Society of the Nature Coast.

The Poker Run will officially begin from Spring Hill Drive and the Spring Hill office of AAA and will have stops at the following spots ? Upper Deck Restaurant in Hernando Beach, Petco in Brooksville, Hess Gas Station in Brooksville, Cotee River Caf? in Hudson and the finish line is at Sky Powersports in Hudson.
To play during this event, you only need to buy as many poker hands as you wish and the good news is there’s no registration fee involved. Motorcycle riders are welcome to join the run but if you don’t have a bike, then drive your car to the event.
