Besides wild stories, your MONEY will be another thing staying in Vegas

So let’s say you sell off all those Christmas Starbucks gift certificates and exchange your kids’ Hanukah gelt for real $$, and head to Vegas for New Years.  What to do, besides play poker??  (I’d encourage you, instead, to contribute to Heifer International or The Nature Conservancy, but that’s another post…)  Let’s say there’s a lot of gelt…

Have A Drink to unwind after the trip…

$69 for a margarita at the Palms Casino … … $825 for a Grand Marnier 150 at the MGM Grand … … $1,050 per shot of 50 year old Chivas Royal Salute at the Bellagio

To relax after those prices… Spa options…

$200 for a Spa Bellagio caviar fusion facial … … $270 for a Four Seasons Bali spice oil massage with clove and ginger

Something still left in that wallet?  Dinner options…

$60 for a Kobe beef, foie gras, truffle and Madeira sauce “hamburger” at Mandalay Bay … … $350 per person for Robuchon’s 16-course tasting menu at the MGM Grand

Well, you’ve already blown so much, why not… Hotel options…

$10,000 per night split-level suite at the MGM Grand ($378K Maybach limo from the airport, complimentary laptop use, 24 butler service, in-suite steam room…) … … or if you’re “poor,” a $1,600 per night Bellagio penthouse suite (3 bathrooms, private bar, flat screen TV…)

So, I’ve been thinking… it really wouldn’t be fair to you, to send you to Vegas without someone testing these things out.  So how about those next winnings at poker, you send them in, care of Sparky, to PokerMoments.com….   I’ll be sure to send you a  postcard…
